Privacy Policy

CareLineDesk (carelinedesk.com) is subscription software that automates front-desk scheduling and communication for medical, dental, veterinary and wellness practices. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and the Service, why, and how you can control it.

1. What We Collect

• Contact information you give us — when you request a demo stand or otherwise contact us: your name, and the email address and/or phone number you provide, plus any optional details you add (practice name, specialty, preferred contact time).
• Demo interaction data — messages you type into the "Try the live demo" chat widget and any sample appointment details you enter, processed to run the demo and briefly logged for quality and debugging. The public demo runs on a sample practice, not real patient data.
• Technical data — standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, request timestamps), collected automatically for security, abuse prevention and basic traffic monitoring.
• Billing data — if you subscribe to the Service, billing and payment details are collected and processed directly by Paddle.com Market Limited, our payment processor and Merchant of Record (see Section 5).

2. Why We Use It

• To respond to your request and set up a demo stand for your practice.
• To operate, maintain and improve the Service.
• To communicate with you about your subscription or inquiry.
• To protect the Service from abuse and keep it secure.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to providing and improving the Service.

3. How Long We Keep It

• Demo request and contact information: kept for up to 24 months after your last contact with us, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever is sooner.
• Demo chat and interaction logs: kept for up to 90 days for quality and troubleshooting, then deleted or anonymized.
• Server logs: kept for a limited period for security purposes, then rotated out.

4. Payments (Paddle)

Subscription payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Limited, acting as our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects and processes your billing details (such as payment method information, billing address, and tax information) directly, under Paddle's own privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

5. Who We Share It With

We share information only with service providers who help us run the Service and this website — for example Paddle for billing, and our hosting infrastructure — and only to the extent needed for them to perform that function. We do not sell or rent your information to third parties.

6. Where It's Processed

We are based in Ukraine, and our servers may be located outside your country. By using this website or the Service, you understand your information may be processed in a different country than where you are located.

7. Your Choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@carelinedesk.com. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable time.

8. Children

This website and Service are intended for business use by practices and their staff, not for children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Cookies and Similar Technology

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may involve a connection to Google's servers when the page loads.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates are posted at this address with a new "Last updated" date.
